God

For our Bible study on Monday nights we are taking turns sharing our life story's and how they tie into History. Last night was my turn... I got out some great old pics and I looked through my Bible at special verses that have been meaningful to us over the years. The thing that struck me however is how God has revealed himself to me over the years.

He is My Creator (obviously I was born and had my childhood),

He is my Protector ( a naive farm girl goes to college in the big city 1000 miles from home-- kinda sounds like a movie huh?),

He is my Redeemer (October 19, 1992),

He is the Lover of my Soul (blessing me with my wonderful hubby).

God is my Shepherd (teaching me to grow and grow up in Utah),

He is the Giver of Gifts (our Nathan "Gift of God" June 26, 1998),

He is also my Faithful Father (faithfully providing for us in Texas while in seminary).

He is my ROCK (December 3, 2001 our angel "God's grace"),

He is the Word (my knowledge of him expanded in Iowa), and

My Comforter (Noah "comforter" November 21, 2002) and

God is gracious (I am learning about the fullness of His grace here in AZ).

My God is AWESOME!!
