Noah- "Comforter"

Well, a little bit ago I did a post on our eldest son Nathan. Now, never being one to be outdone by his brother, I must do a post on Noah. Noah means "comforter" and he is to us. You see Noah was born 11 months after our miscarriage. He is a comforter in many ways--- he is generous, a wonderful helper, a hard worker, a dare devil and a joker.

He is 6 years old and thinks of great questions. In church he has been learning about generosity so he asked --"mom, we just gave our left over 62 cents to the bell ringer guy. What happened to the other $5 you got back at the store."
me- "Well, I need to give that to your baseball coach for a gift."
Noah-- "Mom, who needs the money
more the hungry people or my coach?"

His favorite thing to do is help his dad do projects or help me cook in the kitchen. He works on a task until it is finished and if it's too hard he keeps on trying until he gets it right-- even tying his shoes like 20 times a day until i
t was just right. On the other hand, he will try just about anything, no matter how dangerous or scary it looks, if it has potential for fun he's in it.

He also loves to play jokes and trick you-- which is funny most of the time--he's pretty clever! Just yesterday he called my cellphone while I was blow drying my hair. Yep, he called using Nathan's cell phone-- so I immediately thought "oh, no what does Nathan need at school? Is he sick?" then I realized that Nathan didn't have his phone at school : ) It was Noah!
