waterfall on the San Juan Skyway
All righty after 3 days at Ridgway it was time to head home. We drove the "san juan skyway" on the way home through some of the highest mountain passes in Colorado. It was called a skyway for a reason. Simply awesome drop offs, beautiful waterfalls, snow, and even a few abandoned mines along the way. Gorgeous, majestic, and ah-maz-ing!! Then out of the mountains onto the dessert floor of the Navajo Nation and 4 corners. Next was some scenery that looked like the surface of mars and then more mountains which spilled us out to the valley of the sun and home : ) It was a great trip!
