Christmas week has arrived--- no school, lots of yummy food, Christmas lights, carols, excited children (and adults), and most importantly time to focus on why we have Christmas at all. I am trying to slow it all down this year by not getting caught up in the doing, but instead focusing on the living. Trying to live in the moment and let my mind grasp the fullness of each experience instead of thinking ahead to what is next. Our Christmas as a family has been a little slower paced allowing us to spend more time together. Together as a family we are creating moments to remember. Christmas, after all, is a time to remember. A time to remember and give thanks for the birth of God's Son, the baby Jesus. Without the gift of the baby there would be no hope of life.
May you know the hope of life-- new life in Christ!
Love,
the AZfishes
