It's kind of hard for me to get in the Christmas frame of mind when it's so sunny and not very cold. Even after 3 years I still can't quite get December and January in the desert Southwest. Oh, I am thankful for it in February when you really want winter to be done! I do miss the excitement and anticipation of that first big snow storm... oh well we got a humdinger of a rain storm the other day so that made my heart happy!
The presents are bought, I made some cookies, now for the Christmas letter (which I was going to write but it turned into a blog session instead), a few parties, Christmas Eve Eve service (not a typo), and a night of driving around looking at lights! Then we can go on vacation and head North to Colorado and hopefully *fingers crossed* some snow!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! I might not write again until 2010 at this rate : )

snow we got ,but if you want winter then how about -21 yesterday morning and -12 today and going there again tonight with wind chills in the -20's and -30's . Don't want to ruin your Christmas but hope it's alot more temperate when you come. Maybe a little snow and alot of food. Can't wait to see you guys! Dad
