Christmas Traditions

The Christmas season is here and I am feeling a little lost. We have some traditions as a family but not too many as each year our Christmas looks very different depending on where we are going and what the schedule is at church. The traditions that we have had include celebrating advent, making yummy foods, writing the Fischbach Gazette, stuffing the Gazette in cards as we pass the cards around the table for each person to sign, driving around to look at lights, and decorating the tree and house together inside and out.

Well, this year has some exceptions. The boys thought our advent calendar that hangs on the wall with figures of the Christmas story revealed each day was not grown up enough. So, we got out a family devotional and the candles... yeah we haven't done one of the devotions. I have made 2 different kinds of cookies, but not the over abundance of past years. We decided not to write a Gazette as most people know what's going on in our lives via facebook and this blog. We have however signed all the cards and decorated inside and out. We are to go on our light looking tour on Friday yay! I guess I feel kind of like I'm missing out on something great for our family to do together... what are some of your favorite traditions?
