The smell of construction paper, glue sticks, and crayons. The excited anticipation of a new class and teacher. New clothes, a heavy backpack, sack lunch, and new pencils. Yep, we had all this at our house on Monday morning! Nathan started his 6th grade year. His last year of elementary school who he will be spending with Mrs. Steger and crew. Noah started his 1st grade year. His last year of home school who he will spend with me and with Mrs. Evans @ Eagleridge on Mondays. I always love the newness of the school year beginning, the routine it brings, and the joy in watching our boys learn. They will learn facts and life lessons; grow taller and gain wisdom; develop character and their own sense of self. Plus, I really like school supplies-- what teacher doesn't!
