Our small group from church has taken the summer off of studying and we are building our friendships and relationships. In other words, we are playing together as families! Our first outing was an afternoon at the lake. Obviously the lake is more fun when there are toys to play with. Some friends in our group have great toys!! We had 2 boats, 2 jet skis, 2 rafts, and even wake boards and water skis. We provided a grill : ) Anyhow, it was wonderful, relaxing, and tiring. We all slept well that night!
I love how God brings His people together and knits us into a family! We only knew one of these families and now we can say we have friends we didn't even know last year at this time. Small groups have helped us do life together and to do it through studying scripture, loving on each other, playing together and praying together. Love you groupies!
