Danville Redeux

We have lived in AZ for 3 years now. We have lived in many places and never have visited a place we moved away from until now... The boys and I had the opportunity to go visit our friends and old stomping grounds in Danville, IA thanks to some amazingly generous friends and some awesomely cheap airline tickets! Our visit was refreshing and relaxing. The boys played in the rain, rode bikes, stayed up late, played with friends, and were re introduced to mosquitos, wasp nests, and small town living. I drank in the green-ness of the landscape, the smell of the soil (and pesticides), enjoyed the laughter of friendship, stayed up late, and experienced the joy of knowing that when Christ is in your friendships you can always pick up where you left off! We drove on gravel roads, rode the 3 wheeler and dune buggy, and saw baby kittens. It was summer in the Midwest!
