Rock and Worship Road Show

Last Friday, March 27th, we went to our first concert as a family. It was a big deal. We went to the
US Airways center (home of the Phx Suns). Not only did we go to a concert, but we had tickets in a suite!! WOW-- our own box-- with our own bathroom (soft TP too), wet bar, refrigerator, flat screen TV's, the works. Okay, so the only thing we could actually use was the bathroom is beside the point...

Why were we there and who did we see... well, some very nice friends at church gave us the tickets and we saw the Rock and Worship Road Show. Which included bands such as Addison Road, Tenth Avenue North, Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp, and Mercy Me. There were 12,000 people packed into the center and it was incredible. The music was LOUD, the light show amazing, the bands phenomenal, and the experience totally remarkable. The boys were so pumped to be at a concert, in a suite, and jamming (in their own ways) to great tunage.

My favorite band was Addison Road. Paul's fav - Tenth Avenue North. Nathan undoubtedly Hawk Nelson (he had to come home and download the album for his ipod) and Noah hard to say...the night ended with Noah asleep at 10:15 in a chair... time to go home too much excitement for our youngest guy... now if we could just find Nathan's Jeff Gordon hat...
