Noah's zoo day

My charges for the day

Noah, and his class from Eagleridge (his Monday school), went on a field trip to the zoo last week. I was priveleged to go and spend the day with his new friends and some fellow home school moms.

Most of the kids had never been on a bus. So every turn was exciting as the bus "tipped", and the view out the windows was amazing.

While at the zoo they got to pet the stingrays. That was my groups favorite part! They could have stayed with the sting rays all day long. Stingrays feel very silky and glide so gracefully through the water! A day with 2 little girls was an eye opener for me. I am so not accustomed to little hands wanting to hold mine or hugs around my legs for no reason. I was reminded again that yes, girls are different from boys. I realized that all the hand holding was a little much for this mom of boys--- eww sweaty hands and all that touching!
